Compiling the needed module(s) can be a bit tricky, but the driver
tarball holds the necessary information. I once compiled the pwcx module
my own on FC1. Still can locate it in my backup

/spare/backup/hdb3/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2188.nptl/kernel/drivers/usb/pwcx-i386.o

(Formerly it was called pwcx-i386.o.)

The FC1 kernel has it too, named pwc.o.
