startx xfce error

Hi forums

I am trying to get xfce working on my fc2 workstation.

I have followed the instructions here: http://fedoranews.org/contributors/diego_figueroa/xfce/

When I do startx xfce it fails.  Most of the text disapears off the top of the screen, the bit 
of the error I can see is:
/usr/X11R6/bin/xterm: Bad command line option "xfce"

What on earth is going on here? It looks like it's trying to run xterm..... why?
