rpm database error

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

I am unable to run >yum update< as my rpm database has been corupted,
please see the below errormessage. I have tried to run the below
commands, which I found at RedHat, but without success:

#rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
#db_verify /var/lib/rpm/Packages
#rpm --rebuilddb

This should fix your RPM database.

HTH,
Prakash

Can someone help me, please

Truls Gulbrandsen
