Same thing happened here.

[root at devel ~]# yum update
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/yum", line 6, in ?

ImportError: No module named yummain
[root at devel ~]# updatedb && locate yummain
/mnt/fc2/usr/share/yum/yummain.pyc
/mnt/fc2/usr/share/yum/yummain.py
/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py
