Try googling for beowulf clusters.  These clusters can be built on
just about any form of UNIX/Linux.  If you're looking for High
Availability (HA) though, I would not recommend Fedora.  While I
haven't had any major stability problems with my desktop/server at
home (running FC2 with a few development updates), I would tend to
lean towards something that is a little less modular, and
traditionally more stable.  Ultimately, this will depend on your
ability, time and dedication level.  I would recommend a BSD (Free,
Open) or Solaris if you want true HA with a free OS.
