The mdmpd service fails because the Fedora kernel lacks support for this
(in contrast to the RHEL kernel). It is safe to run "chkconfig mdmpd
off" to deactivate it.

From /etc/init.d/mdmpd:
# mdmdp This starts, stops, and reloads the mdmpd-based
# multipath device monitoring and management facility
