I've try it, but as it is  built using gcc-3.4 (default in FC3) there is 
a problem when trying to build module (video, USB modem...) with default 
gcc-3.3 installed in FC2.

Think this kernel is for FC3, should get the source from :

http://ftp.funet.fi/pub/mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.9-1.640.src.rpm

And build it for FC2.

P.S. : effectively, there is a great attention for this kernel which 
sould solve problem with Audio CD durning.
