Hello Stephen;
I've recently had a successful install of Fedora for x86_64 3 test 1 
(DVD).  No install issues on my system, however this test version may 
not have been the wisest choice for this newbie.  But that's the 
challenge - to make it work - the fun of it, has to be carefully 
explained to other family members.
