Root mail

One easy way to receive root's mail is to create a file called
".forward" in the /root directory - in the file, add your username or
any other email address to automatically forward root's mail to. When
root receives mail, it will also appear in your inbox - This way, you
can simply ignore the actual root's mail altogether.
The other option is just to run Kmail (must be run as root) and add a
local mailbox, using all the defaults (click next, next, next etc).
