postalias error

Hello all -

I have recently noticed a Fedora Core 2 install that is having some
issues running postalias. When I run '/usr/sbin/postalias
/etc/postfix/aliases' I receive the error message:

postalias: error while loading shared libraries: postalias: undefined
symbol: db_version

The result is the aliases database is not updated with the current
information. Though I am able to have the aliases database updated by
restarting the postfix service by running 'service postfix restart' or
'service postfix start' when the postfix server isn't running. I checked
out the postfix init script and ran the line '/usr/sbin/postalias
/etc/postfix/aliases' in my shell without any luck. Has anybody run
across this before? Thanks in advance.
