Hi all,
I have updated my FC2 based server with the latest goodies via yum, the
kernel went from 2.6.6 to 2.6.8.
When booting using the new kernel, the machine hangs at 'Updating
/etc/fstab' which is called from within kudzu (S05kudzu -> updfstab).
When booting using the old kernel, everything is working fine - so for
now, the old kernel is being used until I find out what's happening.
System hardware:
Motherboard: ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
CPU: AMD Athlon 3200+
Memory: 1.5 GB of PCD2100 non-ECC RAM
Network: on-board 100 MBit Ethernet, on-board Gigabit ethernet
Disks: Adaptec 39160 controller, 8 x SCSI drives
Tapes: 1 x DDS-4 Seagate, 1 x HP Ultrium-1 - both SCSI
If anybody could shed some light on the issue ...
Thanks,
Chris
