No.

No. It worked not. You just copied an incompatible kernel module into
the modules tree of your Fedora kernel. That is pointless.

It seems to that you have Fedora Core 2 already installed on the SATA
drive connected to your mainboard. So just update to the latest FC2
kernel. It has the needed kernel module.
