Sis 900 Ethernet Card Problem

This may be a problem related to the chipset PCI ID changing; see:
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0405.2/0071.html
Try one of the recent errata kernel updates (> 2.6.6) and it may well be fixed.
