I think I can understand you. Please ask if something I write isn't
clear.

In other words, you see all these messages and you get worried?

Don't panic!

Most of these are informative: they tell you something is happening.
They're not necessarily problems.

LogWatch sends a lot of detailed e-mail, not all of which is a problem.
Much of it merely notifies you of stuff.

No connect errors is a good thing.

You could try
touch /var/log/ppp/connect-errors
although I'm not sure if Fedora is configured to "rotate" that. (Log
files get archived, usually once a week...)

If you're not using your system as an e-mail server for other PCs, this
is harmless.

This sounds like the commands that restore volume to your sound card(s).
Post /etc/modprobe.conf if you're worried about this.

The worst that can happen with this is no sounds, or you have to change
the volume each time you reboot.

Same problem. *Are* you getting sounds? Do you want them?

These mean your (local) network is not set up properly. This has nothing
to do with dial-up connections.

If you need a network and it isn't working, run system-config-network
as root.

Your system is mostly healthy, and the few problem areas don't affect
security or the basic functioning of your system.

Have fun with Fedora!

James.
