Quake 3 prolems

Hello,

I'm just making a report about a bug in kernel-2.6.8-1.521 on FC2.
Before upgrading to the said kernel version, Quake 3 was just running
fine without any problems. This was under 2.6.6-1.435.2.3 and
2.6.7-1.494.2.2 official FC2 kernels. However, when I upgraded to
2.6.8, Quake 3 would suddenly exit (Signal 11)  when I'm I click on
"Fight" on both single player and multi player mode.

My hardware:

Athlon XP 2600
MSI KT400a
512MB DDR
Gforce 4 MX

Fedora Core 2
Nvidia Binary drivers version 1.0.6111
