Oh - one more note - gag is not a substitute for lilo/grub - you still  
need one of those, you just write it to the boot partition and not the  
mbr - you write gag to the mbr (or on a floppy) and tell gag where the  
partitions with boot records are.

So its not a "replacement" for grub, it's an alternative mbr that will  
chain load to wherever you have grub/lilo installed (allowing you to  
have different grub/lilo for each linux/bsd etc.)
