2.6.11-1.7_FC3.x86_64 breaks on dual Opteron 244

I installed 2.6.11-1.7_FC3.x86_64 on a dual Opteron 248 (4GB)
yesterday (vanilla FC3 kit + up2date) with (so far) no problems.
This is on a Tyan K8S Pro S2882 motherboard, booting from a SCSI disk.

Similar cpuinfo/meminfo/dmesg to yours, which I'll send if you like.
