[FC3] Upgrade kernel to .2.6.11-1.14FC3, now PC freezes on boot

I just upgraded from the last kernel in FC's
repository (2.6.10 something) to the latest and now
trying to boot freezes on a message about configuring
kernel parameters...there is no HD activity at this
message and nothing happens. How to fix?
