fedora 3 sending out invalid packets

Those are Samba/netbios ports alright.

I would check for;

1) A trojan or spyware (even somewhere on your LAN)

2) Broken (partly??) NIC card or cable, etc.

3) Driver or module that is bad.

I would try a clean install.
