Kernel 2.6.11.7 and Fedore core 2

I did switch off the acpi , which only solved the LSI MegaRAID issue .
Some ppls reported that new MegaRaid driver in new kernel are not 
compatiable with old MegaRAID hardware.

It always hanging on "Checking for new Hardware.."

Any other solution ?
