KDE Issues

All;

based on a previous thread today (Re: When are KDE and KFCE getting updated in 
FC?) I setup the yum channel for KDE (http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/)

Then I ran 'yum update'
After yum had updated like 130 packages all looks fine, I have the new version 
of KDE,etc.. 

However it seems that many of my taskbar icons won't show in the takbar 
anymore. Specifically the battery monitor, Kmail, and the redhat update icon

Any suggestions?
