I've actually kind of stopped following this bug since I got ACPI working. 
But my first suggestion would be to try the latest FC3 updates kernel as 
is.

APM suspend seemed to work reliably enough for me with an old devel kernel 
2.6.10-1.1137_FC3.  It looks like I rebuilt it for some reason.  I'm not 
sure what I did with the source, but I still have the binaries, if you 
want to give them a shot.  They date from sometime in Feb.
