Sorry to bother again but I get kernel 2.6.9-1.667 by
default and I want to change to 2.6.11.7 the newly
installed kernel. How do I do that?

Here's what's in /boot/grub/grub.conf

[root at rio ~]# cat /boot/grub/grub.conf
# grub.conf generated by anaconda
#
# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making
changes to this file

#          kernel /vmlinuz-version ro
root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00
#          initrd /initrd-version.img
#boot=/dev/hda
default=1
timeout=5

[root at rio ~]#

Thanks,

Antonio
