Symbolic links disappear after reboot

Ok. Already expected that.

# rpm -qa | grep hal
hal-0.4.0-10
 seing this, i will now update to Update: hal.i386 0:0.4.7-1.FC3 via
yum .... done.

# rpm -qa | grep udev
udev-039-8.FC3
 seing this, i will now update to Update: udev.i386 0:039-10.FC3.7 via
yum .... done.

Yes, there 10 symlinks already in place after reboot
core -> /proc/kcore
fd -> /proc/self/fd
MAKEDEV -> /sbin/MAKEDEV
ram -> ram1
ramdisk -> ram0
stderr -> /proc/self/fd/2
stdin -> /proc/self/fd/0
stdout -> /proc/self/fd/1
systty -> tty0
XOR -> null
