I'm looking at jcdwriter:
"Running jCDWriter
java -jar jcdwriter.jar
If you have your java installed at /usr/local/java/bin/java then you can use full path also:
/usr/local/java/bin/java -jar jcdwriter.jar"
<http://jcdwriter.sourceforge.net/#Installation>
but this raises the question, for me: what's the difference between installing, for example, java, to "/usr/local/java" versus "/usr/java"?
[thufir localhost ~]$ which java
/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_02/bin/java
[thufir localhost ~]$
thanks,
Thufir
