Hi all happy Fedora Users!!!!
Hope you are all enjoying FC3 like I am!!!!
Having trouble with X. Here is the scenario:
have two Linux systems.
want to display all X stuff from machine1 on machine2
They can see each other one the network, all fine.
typed 'export DISPLAY=machine2:0.0'
then typed xclock and it said: 'cant open display on machine2:0.0'
Then typed '/etc/init.d/iptables stop' on both machines, to stop my
firewalls. Still did not make a difference.
Then typed 'xhost +' on both machines, still no luck.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Any help would definitely be greatly appreciated!!!!
Happy Tuxing!!
Coert
