Incorrect process start time

#uname -a
Linux 2.6.5-1.358smp #1 SMP Sat May 8 09:25:36 EDT 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)

# ps x -o lstart -o " *%c" --cols=256 | grep "grep" | cut -d "*" -f1
Tue Apr 26 16:47:36 2005 

# date
Tue Apr 26 16:42:59 EDT 2005

You can see above, that process start time is about 5 minutes in future. System time is synchronized by sntp, however ps shows incorrect process start times.

Day by day is a difference bigger and bigger.

Does anybody know, what is a problem in?
Please advice.
