Well, for the archives, I did come up with a temporary "fix".  If I
turn off my wireless card during boot up there are no IRQ conflicts. 
After it's booted and the card is turned on there aren't any
conflicts.  It just works.  I'm open to suggestions on what I can do
to "fix" the IRQ's so it allows me to boot with the card on, but for
now, I'm happy with the solution.
