Can 32-bit Linux be installed on 64-bit laptop (and is it a good idea)?

Many simpler games are not 3D, and will work fine.

You will have to go to 3rd party sources to get DVD working.  You will
not find everything needed for this in FC or Extras due to patent/legal
issues.
