It's set up with forwarders. I found a mini-workaround :

$ dig wikipedia.org
;; MSG SIZE  rcvd: 466

vs.

$ dig www.wikipedia.org
;; Truncated, retrying in TCP mode.
;; MSG SIZE  rcvd: 520

So wikipedia.org (no www) will work in firefox.
