I'm still unable to connect my Palm under FC4 (neither previous FC as far as I
remember...)

As indicated previously in the list, I executed :
rpm -ivh --force --relocate /usr=/opt/jpilot jpilot-0.99.7-2.i386.rpm \
    pilot-link-0.11.8-8.i386.rpm
--> OK

After plugin my Palm, /var/log/message :

Aug 4 22:56:27 localhost kernel: usb 5-2: new full speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 18
Aug 4 22:56:27 localhost kernel: visor 5-2:1.0: Handspring Visor / Palm OS
converter detected
Aug 4 22:56:27 localhost kernel: usb 5-2: Handspring Visor / Palm OS
converter now attached to ttyUSB0
Aug 4 22:56:27 localhost kernel: usb 5-2: Handspring Visor / Palm OS
converter now attached to ttyUSB1

(note: Is it acceptable to have both USB0 and USB attached ?)

Then I tried to use pilot-link to make backup (I don't need synchro):

./pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyUSB0 -b /home/bruno/pilot-link/
DEPRECATED: The application is calling pilot_connect()
   Listening to port: /dev/ttyUSB0
Please press the HotSync button now... connected!
Error read system info on /dev/ttyUSB0

Any clue ?
Thanks,
Bruno
