problems with kernel 2.6.12-1.1372 on FC3

There was an update to mkinitrd (v 4.1.18.1) released in the last week
to address problems booting these kernels.

To benefit from the fix, you need to apply the mkinitrd update, then
uninstall and re-install the 1372 kernel. This will result in the initrd
in /boot being recreated.

Eg.

yum install mkinitrd
cd /var/cache/yum/updates-released/packages/
rpm -e kernel-2.6.12-1.1372_FC3
rpm -i kernel-2.6.12-1.1372_FC3.i686.rpm

Not sure if this fix applies to your problem, though.
