Kmail and gpg under FC4 don't remember passwords

Hi all!
          I can not make kmail remember gpg passwords. I must re-enter
openpgp password for every encrypted mail. My configuration is : KDE
3.4.5 , kmail 1.8.2,  gnupg-1.4.1-3 , gnupg2-1.9.16-4.fc4.
        Is there any way to make it work? Do you know any fixes or
updates? Has anybody had a positive result by installing  aegypten stuff?

        Any hint would be appreciated.
