how to print to a network printer which locates in a Windows network

As root run:
system-config-printer
(on FC1 and earlier run redhat-config-printer)

Choose new on the printer and then choose Networked Windows SMB
as the printer type.

You may need to make sure you have
the SMB (samba) packages installed.  I always
have them installed, so I am not sure if they
are required for an SMB printer.

You can also access this config dialog from the
start menu -> system-settings -> printing
