as long as you got it to work!!!

but you should also realize that you have attributes in one of the x11 files
in the etc folder that also relate to the ability to run the monitor/startup
using the graphics mode.

What a shame. The 'workaround' was type some 'whatever' kernel in the
lilo prompt, followed the 'linux text' kernel.
