unable to uninstall wine rpm

Hello all,

I am experimenting with wine to try and get rid of My pc since I only
use it for 2 or 3 applications on an as needed basis.  I didn't have a
problem installing it but I seem to be having trouble installing it. 
Here is what I have tried so far:

[root at Whistler download]# rpm -qa *wine
wine-20050524-1fc3winehq
[root at Whistler download]# rpm -e wine-20050524-1fc3winehq
error reading information on service wine: No such file or directory
error: %preun(wine-20050524-1fc3winehq.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

Can anyone tell me any other way I can uninstall this  rpm?
