Problem with kernel-2.6.12-1.1447_FC4

After installing the following patches, the system no longer boots 
successfully. The boot hangs when initiationg the HAL
daemon.

The system still boots fine if I go back to the 2.6.12-1.1398_FC4 kernel.
Anyone else having similar problems?
