Problem with line wrapping of Thunderbird

Dear All

Although I have set the line wrapping being done at 72 characters
(plain text messages), while I am writing the message the line
wrapping is not done. It is done only when the message is sent. Is it
possible to have Thunderbird doing the same line wrapping while the
user writes the message?
