These files are on Logical volume type LVM2. and part of /home.
These files are just samm html files. They were in good state and have
been read sometime back. But now could not be deleted. Rest all others
in this folder tree were OK and deleted.
There were few other files also, in /lib directory corrupted like
these, they were repaired by re-installation of respective RPMs; with
help from this list.
I have tried rm, cp on these files but without success.
Saved above, as draft and then I did the blunder,
reboot to level 1, (at grub prompt -> a 1 enter)
# umount /home
# fsck -f /home
Now I realize my mistake /home is blank but boot time (show details)
does indicated somefilescount/somebig-filescount.
Is /home lost forever or some hope to revive?
Thanks in advancce.
