yum problem+need help immediate

hi all,
i just finished "yum update" for my FC4.It goes very well and downloaled 
all the necessary packeges.after finishing downloading it just stop 
nothing came.
i just press enter it came it command shell promt.It previously shows it 
was downloading say gaim 1.5(i have currently now 1.3). But after that 
when i checked nothing changed or updated gaim.I reboot the system but 
no changes.Please can anybody just tell me how to enable update 
packeges.I am now onloine and waiting for help..
