yum fix just creates *.repo files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ and import gpg
keys into the rpm db.

There is a easier way.

Just run (as root)

rpm -Uvh http://www.fedorafaq.org/yum

Then you will get all the most used repos availible.

check fedorafaq.org for more info.
