Warren, Temlakos, please don't take the following personal, it's okay
what you did.

Yes and no. Yes, you can try it. But if you do so please also tell the
stupid maintainer of the package that he is a idiot so he can fix it and
do better in the future. Other users then have a benefit of it, too.
That's imho how open-source works (or should work). For Livna the
correct place to report problems would be:
http://bugzilla.livna.org/

Someone else noticed problems with the livna package and filed a bug
yesterday evening after those updates were pushed:
http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=702

But the stupid madwifi-maintainer at livna does not own hardware that works
with the madwifi (He packages it just for fun). That's the reason why he
has to updated madwifi even if he does not know if it works. Therefor he
put the latest update in livna-testing. It was there one week and some
days and at least 60 people downloaded it. No one complained so it was
published in the normal livna place. But is seems it does not work for
most people.

This is very frustrating for the livna maintainer. Sometimes these lack
of feedback drives him mad and he considers to just drop the whole shit
that he is packaging even if he does not use it...

If someone did not get it up to here: yes, I'm the maintainer of that
package. I apologize for this breakage.

But it seems I need help on this from the users because I don't have
madwifi-hardware. Is there anybody here that can help to co-maintain
madwifi with me for livna? And somebody for ndiswrapper, too?

I hope to have updated packages ready soon. I'll post unofficial URLs
later -- I would be glad if someone could try them to see if they work
better before we publish them in livna (that might take until Monday)
