How to disable "acpi poweroff" in shutdown script?

This line is somewhere around the end of the file.
[ -f /poweroff -o ! -f /halt ] && HALTARGS="$HALTARGS -p"
If you remove the -p from the arguments at the end of the line, i think
it will accomplish what you want. In the end it should look like this
[ -f /poweroff -o ! -f /halt ] && HALTARGS="$HALTARGS"
This should help without BIOS modifications...
