hi,
try this {ro root=/dev/hda1 hdc=ide-scsi rhgb} and u may need to edit
{/etc/fstab} file to replace LABEL. I am not sure this works but you can try
it and undo it.
rhgb is a graphical startup and no need to worry about it.
