FC4: Any good video streamers/server combinations out there for Linux?

vlc can do both pieces

we also use darwin streaming server  running on linux (a lot of our 
content orginates on the mac for various reason) and vlc as the client for 
video or xmms as the client for shoutcast style mp3 audio.

we also use icecast 2 for audio only.
