Which is why I use neither:-)

I keep seeing this Gnome vs KDE thing everywhere. They are not your
only choices! Don't forget that.

Personally I tend to prefer the appearance of the Gnome apps, but that may
be because I've managed to do a little hacking in the .gtkrc, and haven't
got anywhere with KDE theming (and haven't had any incentive, either).

I have learnt to hate to performance failings of the new Gnome save-file
dialogues. But then I save things with a helpful shell script if I can,
so I can often avoid it in my browser, at least.
