autofs timeout value

I have Fedora Core 3. I am trying to increase the timeout value in
auto.master for only one mount point. Example:

/pkgs yp:auto.pkg --timeout=3600

I can change DAEMONOPTIONS in /etc/sysconfig/autofs from 60 to 3600 but
it changes all of the mount points' timeout values. Not just one.

The auto.master entry works ok for RedHat Enterprise Linux 3. RHEL is
running autofs v4.1.3-47. FC3 has v4.1.3-28. I tried installing RHEL's
version onto the FC3 system but that didn't help.

Does anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong on Fedora Core 3?

Thanks,
Vicki
