Can you log on the remote server by other way using the same protocol ?

Which protocol do you use ? (FTP, HTTP or HTTPS ?)

In my case, I entered the server fqdn in the "host" field, my user name
on this remote server in the "user" name field (obvious, isn't it :D),
using FTP protocol. I can access the remote server via a classic ftp session.

"Path" field is set to /xbel.xml (the bookmark file)

Which Firefox and "Bookmarks Synchronizer" versions are involved ?
