The RPM you have is the kernel source.
See http://crab-lab.zool.ohiou.edu/kevin/kernel-compilation-tutorial-en/
for how to build it into a new binary kernel RPM.
For details of how to create an expanded source tree (which you appear
to need for your driver), see the Fedora Core 3 release notes
(e.g. /usr/share/doc/fedora-release-3/RELEASE-NOTES-x86-en starting at
line 416).
