sound problem

I forgot to mention some details:

Let me get this straight, you are using the OSS drivers from the Open
Sound System website? Or are you using the supplied FC3 drivers (kernel
drivers)? From what I can make out of your message you are using custom
OSS drivers that you got straight from the OSS site.
I am using drivers that came with FC3. I never installed OSS drivers from the OSS website.
